ROGERS & WILLARD'S NEW OFFICE

This project consisted of the renovation of an existing two-story office & warehouse building located at 550 Saint Michael Street in Mobile, AL.  A second level was constructed inside the previously unconditioned warehouse area, which increased the usable floor area for the Owner by approximately 3,000 sf, for a total area of 20,000 sf.  The Owner of the facility, Rogers & Willard, Inc., acted as the General Contractor, and after construction was completed in early 2023, they relocated their corporate headquarters into Suite A from their previous location on nearby Saint Louis Street.

Working with Bowden Architecture and Rogers & Willard, Inc., Sherer Consulting Engineers, LLC served as the Mechanical Engineer-of-Record and designed the HVAC and Plumbing systems for the building. Spiral metal ductwork, routed throughout the exposed areas of the two-story office, helped give the space a sleek, industrial look and added to the overall aesthetics and beauty of the transformed facility, while also providing a high level of comfort for building occupants.
